The Barber and Community Service

Just heard this one today:

A barber is sweeping up his shop one Sunday morning when a florist comes in to get his hair cut. The barbe gets to work on him and in about 20 minutes he hands him a mirror and asks how it looks. The florist is happy with the end product and asks how much it'll be. The barber tells him that, "It's on me. I am doing community service this week and so don't worry about it."

The next day the barber opens up his shop to find a thank you note and a dozen roses at his doorstep.

Later that day a cop comes into the barbershop looking for a hair cut. The barber sits him down and before long, has got the policeman looking clean cut again. The cop pulls out his wallet and asks how much it'll be. "It's on me. I am doing community service this week and so don't worry about it", says the barber.

The next day the barber opens up his shop to find a thank you note and a dozen doughnuts.

Later that day a congressman walks into the barbershop looking for a trim. In no time the barber has him looking representable again. The congressman pulls out his wallet and asks how much it will cost him. "Don't worry about it. I am doing community service this week and it's on me", says the barber.

The next day the barber opens his shop and finds a dozen congressman waiting for free hair cuts.
