Barack Hussein Obama and our troops

Man, you guys take a breath. You are arguing over 2 POLITICIANS....... That alone should tell you that they spin the "truth" to how they want it. Neither one can be believed, and anything they say is hogwash. As much as SoCo want's to talk about "Rovian" spin, Obama's C.M. David Plouffe is good at it too.

Neither of you can rely on voting record either. Half the things McCain voted against, even though they dealt with funding the VA, for example, could have contained $200 Million in pork barrell spending that he wanted to vote against. Same with Obama. Half of his "no" votes could have been for underlying reasons, not because he doesn't support the troops.

The sad reality is, once again, it's a vote for the lesser of 2 evils. it's Obama, the inexperienced, hot air blowing, liberal, versus McCain, the Bush buddy, Hawkish, war monger. I say write me in for President. At least I'll be straight forward with my answers and opinions..... Yes

I definitely disagree with the warmonger part. I don't think you could find anyone in Washington that's suffered from war as much as he has. Just because you're former military doesn't make you bloodthirsty.

It has nothing to do with his military status. It has to do with his thinking it's okay to be in Iraq 100 years or what looks like his giving into the neocons desires to nuke Iran.

WHAT?? Nuke Iran? Who has advocated nuking Iran?

As far as the infamous 100 years quote, let's be realistic. We defeated Germany and Japan 63 years ago -- and we still have military bases in each. We ended Korea 56 years ago, and still have bases there, too.''

Are we still fighting in Germany and Japan? Of course not. Neither is McCain saying we're going to be fighting in Iraq for the next hundred years. There's a big difference between fighting a war and maintaining a presence to insure stability. If Afghanistan will have us, we're going to be there a long time, too -- because there' s a lot to be said for having basing capability that close to Iran, Pakistan, India, and China.
