I'm looking for a new frame pack. I really like to do everything on my own and my next hunt i plan on hiking about 10miles into the wilderness carrying all my gear, food, water, etc. in with me and I', looking for a good new pack about 4,300 - 4,700 cu in. I would prefer an external frame pack but I am open to the internal frame packs. I have heard good things about the cabela's alaskan guide II pack, and also the badlands 4500. I was wondering about any other packs to check out and what people thought about these two packs? when it comes to cost, if I am going to buy the pack I am going to buy it, i just need to make myself buy it so my price range is very open and I have till fall 2010 to find it so I am in now rush. Please, any suggestions, reviews, and product knowledge helps.
