AZ Unit 6A Bull Muzzle Loader - Anyone Else?

I was fortunate enough to get drawn for hunt 3108 in 6A, Nov.12-18th. Woohoo! It looks like I am on my own this year as my former hunting partner is out of the game. Later in the summer. I will make a run (or two) to pick out areas of interest for hunting and camping. Any wise words of advise are welcome.

I would be willing to help another with their elk (assuming a close camp) for a similar consideration.

Re: AZ Unit 6A Bull Muzzle Loader - Anyone Else?

I hunted in unit 6A last year for cow elk during muzzleloader in November. My girlfriend had the tag and it was her first year hunting. We saw elk all 4 days we hunted. Unfortunately the one shot we had turned out to be a spike bull. I would suggest hunting west of lake mary road. If you can find any "no motorized" zones and get in off the road a bit, you will probably trip over them. Oh, and find the water holes, there are many within the unit.
