i dont have a problem with say using a ohv even driving off the road to get somewhere. u can ride is such a way and not to damage the area minus the tire track itself. for several reasons, if u park your truck off the road or ohv it can be damaged by those who hate hunters for one. the wackos had already put out videos on u tube for one saying that they will damage your stuff, damage tree stands etc. if u went out into the woods say 5miles it would be nicer to driver half way or more (your choice) to make it easier aswell as quicker for u to get your meat to a cooler or whatever u do with it. it is far cheaper than a horse/mule, if u can afford a horse/mule great, id use it. but i cant so i have a ohv, when u get older and u will, it will help u to get to some of those places that maybe perhaps use to walk to. if u want to start to adding more laws to burden hunters and or making it more expensive that only the rich can get out there like in europe. fine, do so. pouchers make hunters look bad just like ohv riders so, where is this going to stop? you want to make hunting avail for your kids and theirs. make sure u leave them a lot of money. or get them to be famous where the laws dont apply to them. hey, between the hunters, pouchers ohv riders, the communist dont want us to even be in the woods unless. in cali u have to get a pass and let them know when u r going to be in the wilderness because they only allow so many people in at one time. and u better plan early, u cant go to the ranger station and say im going hiking in the wilderness today give me a pass. u have to plan ahead.

I didn't say "I had".Wheeled vehicles are NOT allowed in ANY Wilderness. And responsible use is one thing and abusing that right to use is another. When it says atv's are NOT allowed off roads in certain areas outside Wilderness, it means just that.NOT ALLOWED.Stay ON road.Go where they are allowed and use it responsibly.

Hey guys nobody likes there hunt jacked up by some unethical jerks. But I will tell you what, we keep fighting among each other and we will loose it all. Where I hunt in Colorado We have had wilderness study areas since I was a kid, and in these areas there have been roads that have been there for a 100 years. Then slowly they started closing them one by one, and finally this year they are turning it into a wilderness area and calling it roadless. The roads are all still there and they call it WILDERNESS (Sorry)! The way I see it pretty soon they will all have us concentrated in one little area so they can keep track of us. If we keep fighting to keep people out we will all be kept out . My dad just turned 60 and will never be able to hunt elk and deer ther again because he can't walk that far anymore let alone be able to see it again! He has hunted there since 1967. So be careful what you fight for and wish for. Good luck and good hunting!

So it's my fault that us legal hunters, fishermen ,hikers,etc.. will lose access?Because I can't tolerate lawbreakers?Of any kind? I'm suppost to put up with idiot tree huggers and now idiot atvers and what else?poachers too ?. I can't put up with humans much longer. Critters are honest, I'll stick with them.

It has nothing to do to putting up with them (shoot if I had it my way I'd kick there butts and leave them laying in the woods)but we need not fight them. We need to fight to get OUR PUBLIC LANDS back. The more they take away the less we have, do you want it like California where you have to make an appointment to go into your public lands even if it is wilderness. We need to use common sense, shoot there starting to put up signs to pack out your own poo on BLM in Colorado (does a bear poo in the woods) give me a break! It all starts with them closing roads and then they take, take, take! Hank4elk you will get older and wont be able to go to your honey holes, even with a horse! Think about that.

My honey hole is IN Wilderness area, I walk in. When I'm to old to walk ,I'll sit out behind cabin.Or I'll be dead, and it won't matter to me. And the pack it out is here in areas of CA that have too much use.I don't have a problem during hunting season getting a Wild. permit. Most don't like to go where I go. I have been very involved with keeping access for all the last 20 years.I have been on numerous NF/BLM review teams(Public Input)Congressional hearings ,etc.. so disabled vets and such can hunt and fish. Brick Wall,) Like I tell the folks that come make trouble in the Parks I work, if you can't play nice with each other or play fair, you have to take your toys and go home...

well u are certainly right to have a opinion, but it sounds like u dont care much about the futher after ur gone or cant hunt anymore. lets face it, if u cant hunt anymore because of some phyiscal condition and the only thing stopping u is not having a ohv then that is your option. especially if u like hunting so much. its not right for u to stop those of us he want to continue to hunt until our dieing breath thxs robert

I never said anything about taking your rights to access public lands ,responsibly. But I won't defend law breakers of anykind. And when I can't walk and hunt , I'll set a spell. And no I don't care about folk's much any more, hunters, tree huggers , politicians. The nicer I get the more I've been ripped off and stabbed. Sorry, I don't cotton to folk's much!
