Atlatl s can there be a season?

I live here in western Nebraska,and our club(7 of us) have wanted a season for Big Game useing the Atlatl(spear trower)but we don't have one.do any other states have a season?So,how do we get an Atlatl season here? we all are pretty good with it,grouping all our darts in a pie plate at 60 yards.

That could be pretty tough to sell to the fish and game department. Good luck, sounds like fun.

Atlatl s can there be a season?

We have a spear season, but it is the same days, regulations, and limits as bow. But it has to be a hand thrown spear not mechanical propelled.

I think that Pa just approved this weapon in one of thier WMU's!
