My mom went on her first elk hunt this year and although she did not get one, I can tell you that she is quite the shot. Both of my sisters are also amazing shots, although they get almost no practice. But whenever they come out to the range, they are always impressive. I am not sure if it has to do with patience or what but it seems like women are incredable shots on average.

At my place I can spend whatever I want - as long as I leave twice as much in teh account for her to spend ....

I think it all depends on the person, some people are just naturals at certain things regardless if they are men or women. Wish I was. I have to work hard and perservere on everything in life I've ever attempted. As others have said, when you come across a good woman shooter, treat her with respect, or hide the guns
