Are there laws every where for blaze orange?

Nova Scotia regulation:

13 (1) Subject to subsection (3), no person shall take, hunt or kill wildlife or attempt to take, hunt or kill wildlife or accompany any person who is hunting unless that person wears a cap or hat and a shirt, vest or coat which shall be exposed to view in such a manner as to be plainly visible from all directions and the colour of which is solid hunter orange.

"hunter orange" means a daylight fluorescent orange color with a dominant wave length between 595 and 605 nanometers and excitation purity of not less than 85 percent and illuminous factor of not less than 40 per cent;

In Ilinois, you must have 400" solid blaze orange including cap/hat. Camo orange doesn't count.

Kansas is a yes. I don't believe I would want to hunt rifle season without it. Deer won't see you regardless and I sure as heck want the other guy to see me If there's a deer between him and I.

It's not required to wear orange in Arizona. We do have a very good hunter education program however, with incentives to participate. You receive a permanent bonus point for big game draws if you take the class. It's offered for both rifle and archery safety. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, I know that hunts has taken the class! Anything that will help you get a tag out here is worth it, so the courses are wanted. The results have been very few hunter accidents.
I don't wear any orange myself, but my son likes to wear an orange hat. I feel well educated hunters are far better than a band-aid law forced down your throat. I'm not saying that it is dumb to wear orange, especially in some situations, I just say let the hunter decide.
I guess you guys can tell I don't like "big brother" telling me what to do........... cool

I see your point. Honestly, I take my orange off when I get up in my stand. I figure my Scentlok coveralls are kind of a waste if my outer layer (orange) isn't the same material. I stash them (vest, hat) in my pack that has scent protection.

That said, I wouldn't dare walk around w/o orange during shotgun season here. Especially not on the Missouri side of the river during rifle season.

It's sad you have to feel that way when out and about Dave. I just don't get how people can shoot without verifying their target and also what's behind it when big game hunting. Brick Wall,)
I've worn orange before when out hunting quail and there was a bunch of us. Shooting at fast moving targets can cause tunnel vision (target fixation) at times. But even then it can be worthless as with the Dick Cheney incident.

Colorado doesn't require it if you are waterfowl bird, upland bird, bow big game hunting. Though they do strongly recommend it for upland. For all other hunting it's required and part of that coverage must be a head covering too.

here in tennessee it is! Even if it weren't a law, just for my own safety I would still wanna wear something blaze orange. During the november ML and gun hunts, because its still warm, I always wear my orange vest and an orange ski hat to my stand, than when I get there, I take my orange hat on and put my more comfortable, than put it back on while walking back through the woods, but during the winter hunt I keep all my orange on. Deer hunting is not where I have noticed alot of accidents happening around here, its rabbit hunting, and I figure if I am wearing orange and see someone rabbit hunting, hopefully will see me before they shoot.
