Are guides needed in wyoming?

Some of the guys in my area are saying that you need to hire a guide in parts of wyoming. If I do which parts require a guide. Thanks

what color are they. I want to pick a unit and I don't want to be limited on where I can hunt in my unit do to wilderness areas.
