archery elk outfitter

Looking for some info on a couple of Colorado outfitters for an archery elk hunt. Coyote Creek, Silver Spur Outfitters, and Circle K Ranch are a few I have contacted.
If anyone has hunted with any of these outfitters any info would be appreciated. If you have any other suggestions for outfitters that would also
be appreciated. $3500 for the outfitter is all my budget will allow. One more thing, my dad needs to have electricity for his breathing machine which takes a wilderness pack-in hunt out of the picture for this hunt. Thanks for the help.

I've been to Silver Spur as part of an RFW hunt. They're good folks, have a ton of land and lots of game, and donate to the Hunter Outreach program. Every year they let a kid take a cow moose on their land.

Are all of the hunts RFW at Silver Spur Outfitters? Didn't think that was what I was looking at. I know they primarily hunt private ground.
Did you go on an archery hunt with them? If so, how was the hunt in general. I have never been elk hunting before, so I just want to make sure I'm in the elk when I decide to go. I know odds are slim for harvesting, but what to be in mix most days. Can they provide that?

Re: archery elk outfitter

I hunted antelope with them(actually I just tagged along to help out). RFW hunts are private land hunts, but are not open to nonresidents. The ranches must allow a certain % of their tags to the public in order to get the transferable tags for their outfitting business. So probably 90% of their hunts are private, and I was under the impression that they charged closer to $5,000 for their elk hunts. Given some of the ground they own and the amount of elk sign in the antelope country, I would be surprised if they couldn't put you on some elk. I don't know what facilities they offer to hunters, but there are motels nearby.
