Missed a nice 8 point buck yesterday morning at about ten yards....can't believe it, I only had one small area to shoot because the area was thick and he walked broadside into that spot perfectly, I grunted, he stopped, I shot, he jumped....and the arrow went under him and he ran....I missed a monster last year and a nice 8 point this year....wow what a streak of bad luck! Hope you guys are having better luck than me! Cry

Amen to that bud! Archery is definitely no cake walk! lol. I actually tried a spot last night where I missed a monster buck last year and I seen a nice looking buck about 60 yds out pee'ing on a scrape....it wasn't the monster I missed but looked like a nice looking buck from that distance...I tried to grunt him in but he did his thing and moved on. Archery ends in most of PA on this saturday so I'm trying to get out as much as I can before then but with work its tough...luckily I work a sales job from home which gives me flexibility to get out in the mornings and evenings sometimes but the next couple days look rough. I'll definitely be out all day on Saturday. Good luck with that 8 point!!! Thumbs up

Archery?

I just came back from a trip to New York. Didn't see alot of deer from saturday to monday. But there was a siting of a big 8. The locals say they have not seen anything like that in years. I was also wondering if anyone is willing to give me a direction as to where to bow hunt in southeastern Mass. I have not hunted in the state in years and all the old places I used to go are now posted or had 100 houses put on it.
