Hunter777, I will check the baiting camera saturday April 29. then put fresh bait and leave ..I will keep this camera in that area the whole bear season and keep adding bait to it every 2 weeks..I believe that the best time to learn about the game ur hunting is during the hunting season, during this time the Bear will go thru hunting pressure and everything else we throw at it.
For the other camera (next to the heavy traffic trail game) I will leave it there until April 2007 ( 1 full year ),, this will give me a tremendous amount of information about the animals that use this trail during all 4 season (winter,spring...etc..) and most important during the hunting, rut season of these animals. But of course I will check on the camera every 2 weeks or so and change the battery and replace the memory card.
I hope I anserwed all ur questions , if You have more questions please ask

Redrider Thank You for Your comment, that was the idea of this post .. I will be going again Saturday April 29 for another Bear hunt so be ready for another visual Hunt Laugh .... I took around 300 pictures during this trip and some of the pictures I took would take Your breath away but unfortunatly the space limit for upload is 10 MB so I will use smaller resolution for the April 29 trip and post few more pictures when I come back !

Don't forget to check Elk, Mule, whitetail threads during the season cause I will be posting there too Evil! ... I am glad You like it

I want to ask you what type of bait you use and why ? also you mentioned looking for a good baiting site for your camera so my question would be how do you know the site you picked is good from bad ? what do you look for in finding a good spot ?

thanks
