Personaly I think they should have droped the number of doe tags instead of increasing it. We had two deasent winter in southern end of the province and the deer are making come back. And now they up the # of doe tags, this is bullshit, they should give the deer a chance for a couple more years till the population is back to what it was in the 80's. This is just my opinion, i would like to be able to deer hunt in 20 years from now.
There are times when the deer are simply not moving and you're forced to make something happen. Maybe you're up against a full moon or hot weather. This is when a silent drive to force deer to move should be considered.
By silent drive, you're not yelling and making a commotion to scare the deer. When deer are panicked, they're liable to bust out of the cover on a dead run, and any shot you get will be tough to make.
