This is the Anything Goes right??

HA HA! LOL To bad this technique doesn't work on other species, I would be a champion caller!

As much as I would love to have a bird be attracted by my farting in the forest; unfortunately I think I'm out of luck until I make a trip east.

I'm pretty sure we have no woodcocks in Colorado (I have never seen one). This site gives their range, looks like it is mostly on the eastern U.S. and parts of Canada. Although it does look like they goes as far west as eastern Texas in the winter.

Thanks for the info though, Maineguide.

bitmasher, that website you have posted there is the winter count. These birds are a migratory game bird, they go south just after a few frost.
Try up your way around April I bet you will hear them.

Ok, well I'll look for them. Although I really don't think they make it this far south west. I think they like wetter environments.

Can't say I've seen a pelican up here but if it can get to Maine it can get here. probably couldn't get through customs.

Well I'll keep an eye out, I guess you never know. Damn that seems way north (Maine) for a pelican! I have seen pelicans (usually height of summer) here.
