I would love to hunt down that way .... but don't know just where to start.!
My friend and are heading to New York to his Dad's home to hunt there this fall ....but if I had pick .....HHHHMMMMMM let ya know when we get back from New York ....LOL

Randolph has some nice rifle hunt areas.

I live and hunt in NC. I use to live up in NY. I had some guys ask about deer hunting in NC. Our season runs from Sept till Jan 1 and we can shoot 6 deer. Some clubs get doe tags so you can so you can shoot more than 6 deer. I know of some very good club down here plus the have some nice club houses. I spent my entire childhood summers with my family "down the cape", my dads two brothers and my grandparents lived down there. We grew up around the ocean, as my father was in the Coast Guard. When he was in the regulars, he was on an ice breaker for a time and then went to the Chatham life boat station. After that, he joined the reserves and retired a few years back- he finished up at MSO Providence in port security. As far as people I hunt with, I have one friend that hunts with me alot. During the gun season, I usually hook up with another three or four brothers and hit the woods. But like I said, I bowhunt and if I don't go by myself, I will go with one other.

We use to go up to Day Cottages in Truo every yr growing up and spent 2 weeks up there. I did a lot of surf fishing from Chatham all the way up to Race Point Light House. I kinda knew Cap Cod like the back of my hand. I do miss going up there. My younger brother lived in Brewster till he had his accident which left him in a wheel chair. He now lives down here near me.
