Just as long as you take reports from seemingly serious and stable minded people. I've seen such things as even National Georgaphic air a documentary where they interviewed some real quacks. Wierdos claiming that bigfoot knocked on the backdoor asking to borrow sugar and then demonstrating some hunting tecniques. Or Monster Quest documenting and all woman expedition to find bigfoot, when no one in that expedition got any further than a few yards off a road. That does nothing to shed serious light on the subject matter.

Have you ever talked to Robert Gimlin. I actually believe what they caught on tape is real. Everyone trying to discredit those two have never atually proved anything except to claim the film is a hoax, yet no one has produced proof, nor the so-called ape suite. Funny how anyone with a budget can air a program and say anything about it without facts, state a lot of personal opinion, and the masses will believe it when they watch it ,)

I played on a hockey team for a while called the Sasquatches.

So it was you guys that I saw. I didn't think the real ones traveled in packs.

I became involved because of the 'rubbish' out there! Frozen bigfoot in a freezer (Thomas Biscardi.) Shrunken-head sasquatch (blurry or not) photos.
And on and on...

As I had 'posted' before this on another 'thread' I had - we saw the creature in '74 & '85. That means I have many 'other' questions about such a species. Last time, a number of hunters voiced what they had encountered over time. And you're right - moving past all the craziness, and other crap. Most things done on the creature is utter garbage. You can't stand watching it. But after over 90% of the h___e s__t - it is the remainder, that remains on such an animal existing.

I have talked with researchers. I have addressed different 'legit' groups. At times, 'hunters, fishermen, loggers, ranchers, etc - know more than some of the so-called experts. (Because some have actually seen the species out in the wilderness.

I finding this with people like railroad personnel, and those that fire watch from the lookout towers. Many of them in certain industries must remain silent, and things along this line. Credibility is a must.

The creature we saw on both occasions, was about 8 feet, over 600 pounds. It was upright the entire time. On the '85 sighting as an example, the animal was standing on halfway up a small hill next to us. I watched the breath come off the thing that October evening as our headlights caught it as my brother had backed up, on-and-off the road. The creature had noticeably matted hair, and shifted its weight nervously from foot to foot. We then watched the massive thing run and crest that hill.

In the Princeton, Similkameen Valley, Thompson Plateau - the species has been in that region for at least 125 years. First Nations speaks of this. But also, (pioneer) Susan Allison. In her memoirs, she writes 5 pages on the 'Big Men of the Mountains.' And, 8 months after our '85 sighting, researcher Thomas Steenburg says that a female Sasquatch was bothering a few cabin owners over a 5 week period, in the Coalmont, Granite Creek areas.

So - I am interested in anyone else that has witnessed the species anywhere, while they've been out in the forests. Please contact me if you like...

I had an incident once years ago at around 2 AM. I was out with some friends, had hooked up with a young lady, and was having some success. They announced last call, I got up to use the facilities, and when I came back they turned up the lights. To my horror, I discovered that a sasquatch had taken the place of the young woman I'd been with earlier.

It was horrifying. Do you think they might be lycanthropes?

I'd like to see at least one serious response to the man's question. This has caught my interest.

Sure its fun to belive it but no one will truely belive until one is captured, or killed and then exposed to the world.

Folktails have been told not only in the US but through out the world.

I like to belive but want the iceing on the cake where one is captured or killed or I can see it touch it and feel it.

Frankly I have just as much faith in life in space as bigfoot and I love the folk tails and history of bigfoot and lockness, firebirds ect. Hell why not, i'm open minded.

No, no. I wasn't referring to your post. Actually, what you said was quite funny.
What I meant was that I really would be interested in seeing a serious response.
I watched a show recently about Sasquatch. It was a good, quality programme...no nutbars...or only a few, anyway. The explanations given as to why there hasn't been conclusive evidence were quite believable (too much to go into here).
I like the one fact I've recently learned, though. In 1811, David Thompson, an early Euro-Canadian explorer, discovered a human-like foottrack in the snow just outside of Jasper, Alberta, Canada, during his travels. He measured it as being 14`` long, 8`` wide. This was at a time when the only people really aware of ``Bigfoot`` folklore were First Nations people...white man never knew, and most likely never gave a crap back then.
