Anyone familiar with Galileo Binoculars?

Good? Bad? Let me know.

I'm going to purchase some zoom binoculars and I've been thinking about getting the Nikon Action 10-22x50. I recently ran across the Galileo 10-40x60, and am trying to find people that have experience with the brand. The 2 binoculars are about the same price, and if the Galileo can perform as well as or very close to the Nikon, I'll buy it. I just don't want to spend $150 and then realize that I bought a piece of garbage.

Apparently the Galileo binoculars were designed for astronomy. That tells me that they were designed to be used at night, so naturally it's probably safe to assume that good light transmission was a top priority...I could be wrong though.
