anyone been shed hunting

I was just wondering if anyone has been horn hunting? If so how did you do?
We went to the kittitas side of the Clockum last weekend, but we couldn't get anywhere because all the surrounding land has been bought up and no one will alow access to the public land, There used to be a road in to the foothills but a developer has bought the road and and will not let anyone in. Soon the Elk will have nowhere to winter because it is all going to be houses and the home owners are going to be the only ones able to use the public land.

I have not been yet i did find one blacktail fork-n-horn shed while turkey scouting. Though. Not to be anal, but it is antler, horns are like cattle horns they are perminate, and antlers like deer and elk fall of and grow back. I am just stating not trying to be mean or seem anal, just correcting. Anyways hpoe to get some elk sheds this year bigger than a spike, narmally step on sheds when not looking during turkey hunting lol. Good luck and if anyone finds some good sheds lets see some pics. Thumbs up

I have also found a ton of old whitetail sheds and a few little muley sheds...I will take pics and post later. neener!

I went to one of my hunting grounds today to look for a large set of horns that a bull I have been watching was carrying. Don't know what he will score but he is a dandy in my book. I found one side and 200 yards away at another fence Jeep Creep completed the set. Now all I have to do is find the wall space once I get a cape and mount him.

He has tons of mass and weight, the pics just dont due this one justice. And the great thing is, hes living on private grounds, just think what I might run into next year!!
