Like, do I need to put you guys on another monster buck?

My brother has a buck tag and I've got buck, bull, and cow. I've been studying maps of the area pretty hard, but still haven't had a chance to get up there to scout it. Seems pretty chopped up, but like it could definitely hold something. We're looking at going in at Mt. McConnel trailhead or off of CR 27.

How has your year been? You went up muzzleloader, yes? I was looking really hard at muzzleloaders earlier this year. That is, until I started trying out bows. Shouldn't o' oughta did that. I'm bit by bows HARD. Not to mention bow season is generally a lot warmer. So I may be hitting you up next year on bow spots.

At any rate, I'll keep you posted how we do.

My first time hunting in CO this year and I'm also going up for 4th season buck for the 9, 19, 191 units. Invited my dad, too. Both first-timers in CO. I can't decide to go into 19 or 191. I drove out into the eastern half of 19 in August and was amazed at how much private land was scattered around the national forest.

I meant to do some more scouting, but just haven't made it up into the hills.

Thought about going up into the 191 northeast of Feather Lakes, but have never even driven through that country.

At this point, I'm just not sure where to go.
