Hey Ontargets back! Figured you must have gotten lost in the sticks or something.

And that is a nice mount you got there, I can see why your friends hit you up to stuff theirs. Wink I like what you did around the neck/shoulder area, the muscle bulging looks realistic.

Are you about done with your deer hunting? I fire up for elk season next weekend, got a cow elk tag to fill.

Bitmasher, Got another two weeks left and that will be all folks.... Thanks for the comp. on the mount, I try my best. Hope you have luck filling that elk tag. I sure wish I could hunt elk here at home, but I'd probably have to wait a couple life times before I could draw a tag here in CA. May be I'll have better luck next year with that Oregon draw, it will be four years running.

Good luck with the last few weeks. Then it will be time to settle in for the winter again...

Yes, it is nice to be able to hunt elk, CO has a bunch. Your area does have those "Roosevelt Elk" though, I have never seen one of those.

Hi Ontarget,
Those pics look like the same terrain as around my father inlaws place near Clear Lake. Are you from around there? He lives in Lower Lake and we visit there every summer. Yes it is hotter than the devils sack that time of year.
