Anybody Else Having Problems With the Site?

For the last few days I have been getting kicked out of here, and either just plain not being able to reconnect and be on the clock, or getting a message page saying IE can't connect. Sometimes I can check back in an hour or so and get back on no problem, only to be kicked off again like has happened twice already today.

It's just been the last 3 or 4 days, no issues before, and I don't seem to have the problem at other sites... Confused

Is it just me?

We will certainly look into

We will certainly look into this Unit5A. Have not heard of this problem from anyone else, and we ourselves have not had problems of that nature. We use IE8, Firefox and Chrome. Are you on a computer you've used previously? Maybe a work computer that times out after a certain amount of time?

Saturday evening at the close of the first round of the Grand Slam Challenge, we did shut down the site for about 20 minutes to get the final numbers and update for the new August round. We will be doing this at the conclusion of each round.

If anyone else is having issues, do let us know. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. It's the same computer I've used for a few years now, and from my home. I believe it is IE8 I am using. Shortly after making this post yesterday I got kicked off again and gave up until today. I'm running all my virus, malware, adware, etc. type programs to eliminate that possibility, but it is only happening here so far. Perplexing, LOL.

Since nobody else has chimed in yet with the same issue, I wonder now if I should try a different browser? Would have download one though...

We like firefox better than

We like firefox better than IE. Have played some with Google's Chrome browser and it also seems fast, but I personally have not used it enough to know if it has any oddities or glitches. With IE it might not like that you're "logged in"  - maybe in the last update it installed some kind of security to log you out after a certain amount of time.  Might want to look at your security settings. Another thing to look at would be firewall and antivirus settings. If you've updated those lately, they might also be trying to "protect" you.

So far no one else has mentioned this type of problem.

Keep us posted if you find a solution.

That's what I will try if it keeps up. Usually I will get a warning if the virus/firewall stuff finds something questionable, asking me if I want to allow it etc.,... none of that happening.

I'll try that Firefox, from what I have heard around different blogs everybody seems to like it.

Thanks again.
