This was an unusual year.

This was an unusual year. Normally, yes to 3rd and 4th season, and a good possibility of 2nd season. Could even get it in muzzleloader season. Colorado rockies. Expect anything.

As of

Today, there is snow low in 54. Deer are down low! Elk are still hanging up a couple miles from the Res. on the South side of the Unit! Only around 4 inches standing around the Res! When hunting as Still Hunter said, it can happen at anytime at any elevation up there!!! Got 15 inches once up in that country during 2nd season and the forecast was for temps in the 60's!!!! It did melt rather quickly the next few days and it was back to dust by the end of season!!!

I can remember driving

I can remember driving through Leadville in August, and it was snowing. Big smile

That's only 10,000ft.

I have seen it snow each and every month here in Colorado while I was working. And every time I was below 8,000' in elevation.

Probably couldn't happen in

Probably couldn't happen in Buena Vista where I live. They call this the banana belt. Summers are pretty warm.
