Yo bushwacker i just got into hunting wild hogs in south eastern manitoba ( i'm from steinbach) i am pretty new but i was wondering what are some good places to try....????

HI I am in winnipeg no clue on the Boar hunting I am a black bear deer and moose guy but it would be an experiance worth doing.

There are a few boars in manitoba but not many. Most of them if not all are boars which have been released accidently into the wild and were never found. You dont need a licence to hunt them and there is no actual season for them. If you see one you shoot one in other words. (please varify). i recall reading this in the hunthing guide a few weeks ago.

Im not sure where to find boar in manitoba, I live about 7 hours north of winnipeg in a small town by the pas, but ive never seen a wild boar all my life (not very long hunting only since i was 12 so 3 years)

I think it says in the manitoba hunting guide you cant hunt wild boar anywhere in manitoba anymore.

You can hunt wild boars any time, any where in Manitoba according to the 2005 Hunting Guide
