Any Back Country Snow Boarders or Skiers on Here

Anybody venture into the backcountry once the snow gets nasty. Since my hunting is almost over for the fall I can't wait for the snow.

I used to ride when I was a bit younger. About 6-7 years ago. After seeing a friend of mine snap his arm in half off a table top in the park I stopped riding. It scared me a little to see how much pain he was in and also reminded me of the huge doctor bills I might face if it happened to me since i don't have insurance.

I do ride every now and then when I'm in Co but I keep it on the slopes and try and be as safe as possible. I'll be 26 next month and i can tell I'm getting old haha. The things I used to do amaze me of how stupid I was back then. It's easy to get carried away up in the mountains while living in Aspen CO. Since there were 4 ski resorts within a 10 minute drive of my house and endless back country oppritunities. Oh those were the days.Yes

I havn't seen snow in over 7 months let alone a frost lol.

Hope you have fun this season playing in the snow and be safe.

Getting old at 26 years of age. Hahahaha...You're still young...wait until you hit 40 years old before you start talking like that.

Speaking of frosts...we had our first frosts this week. I don't know how to desribe it...but seeing the frost on the ground is a refreshing feeling. I just wish we would get snow during hunting season... maybe this year.

On A Happier Note

I use to haul a couple neighbor kids up the mountian on the snow machine for some snowboarding action. They moved on after a few years but I know the youngest is still at it.

I have a video that may interest you, gemme a minute to figure out how to get a link in this post.....
