I was recently on a site and came across an article of a kid who harvested a doe...with antlers. Never heard of this before.

Seen it twice with my own eyes but that was over almost a forty year period of hunting.

Seen one myself also. Sort of like seeing a hen turkey with a beard only it's not nearly as common.

Three or 4 years ago I shot one myself, it was a whitetail doe with spikes. I saw a doe and fawn and was looking to fill a whitetail doe tag. They started trotting off and I shot the doe. When I got up to it I was confused to say the least! I had to leave town the next day for work so I dropped it off at a butcher, and he said it was only second one he had ever seen.

I believe the largest known antlered doe was taken in Iowa and scored in the 150's.

Didn't take long to find this:
Loren Miller, Official B&C and P&Y scorer from Lansing Iowa officially scored Eric Weymiller’s antlered doe at an amazing 152 4/8" net NT. This means Weymiller’s deer might be the new “unofficial” world record non typical doe!

Heard off it quite a bit in the southern states more than the Northern, explain that I couldnt. I have a hunter on my Pro-Staff that held the world record racked doe until about five years ago. He was tracking the record for a while and after seeing that Iowa doe kill that is going to be the new record, check out our site http://www.hi-rack.com

Here is a pic I took out of video footage I took of an antlered doe with two fawns. The fawns were observed nursing, that or its a petifile buck
