I've never noticed it before, and it's the 1st time I've ever heard anyone mention it. I'll be back with some research though.

I just did some research on both the internet and my home library. I couldn't find any correlation with antler shedding and diarrhea in whitetails.

Sheds

I would say this time of year when looking for sheds the deer have not been eating as well as they should, here in Wisconsin the snow has been very deep and the deer are eating apple tree branches. This could cause the problem you are seeing. The deer have eaten all the food from the food plots we need a good break in the weather to reduce the stress. We have recieved 100 inches of snow this year and had a period that snowed 53 of 80 dyas, come on spring.

I believe this is diet related also.

YES bring Spring on in Wisconsin. The deer have not known how to handle this winter(a real WI winter) and anything is possible.
