Jersey hunting is not too bad. You look for the pile of road kills and hunt right there.

The court threw out that case but, the anti's still were able to get all the youth bear hunt permits revoked and they had part of the bear hunt region closed to bear hunting for the first 2 days of the season untill the court threw that one out too. The United States Sportsmans Alliance helped defend hunters privilages in all those cases. I am a member now and will renew my membership every year for the rest of my life!

It is good to see that NJ got a bear hunt and that it is standing the assult by those that would repeal it.

Just guessing but I suspect they will try to get a no-bear-hunt referendum on next year's NJ ballot if they have not done so already or in the past.

I'm sure they will try everything they can. I hope that since they already got one season under thier belt the next one won't be as hard. But they(anti's) will be out in full force again!

It seems like the “Anti’s” are struggling for ground to support an argument which is “to be determined”... It’s hard to believe that selling fishing licenses to convicted felons would create a large enough up-rise within “the none” hunting/fishing community that it forces NJ to ban all outdoor sports.

Directly from the article, “The lawsuit even asked that fishing license purchases require background checks…”

This suit shouldn’t last… This is merely extremist taking an extreme idea extremely too far!!
