I can understand how one would enjoy hunting with the dogs. There is the excitement of the chase, listening the bellowing of the dog and the comraderie with the dog and friends. But, I can also see the other side.

The extended tormenting of the hunt as he is being bitten, pulled and terrorized by the dogs. I believe most people would see this side and not understand the appeal. They would also lump it in with all hunting.

Keep in mind, they banned fox hunting with hounds in England, a country where this was an established and respected event for centuries.

My final take is that it is not a big deal - basically catch and release hunting like catch and release fishing.

Different. Everybody has different tastes and does things differently. You see shooting houses with TVs, heaters and bunks overlooking 20 acres of food plots. Why don't you just buy the cow and shoot it.
The tradition and art of training and running the dogs has been handed down for generations. I know Jeff and I also know he would rather sit on the couch and watch TV than sit in a tree stand all day. If you think you shouldn't stand with your fellow hunters, stop and look around and see where they have made this and other forms of hunting illegal. Maybe the next style of hunting to go away will be yours. Do you think I should stand up for what you do? Do you think after all the bashing I am hearing you do that I would want to? Maybe I should just say "If I can't do it, niether can they" lets ban it all.

The source of all this division is that crap you filmed. I never had opinion about dog hunters, but now I could care less if it were outlawed all together. If you alienate fellow hunters with that garbage on film, what do you think the general/ voting public would think. You are your own worst enemy. COOOOWEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

I recognize you. You are the same garbage that handed over the trappers in my state and said "better them than me, I don't trap" .....Those same "sportsmen" are on the chopping block here, right now.
