Damn! an even bigger one. Saw a big one like that driving home Saturday night back from where I got mine awhile back. Going to hit it at night this coming Friday in the hopes of getting a cat like that or some damn coyotes.

Your kicking a$$!

Me too. Nice job on the predators. I'm thinking that we are going to see even more game in the years to come if you keep this up.

here you go rogie Thumbs up
The first set caught a cat last week. The 3 pics show the same set . 1st pic shows close up of trap. 5 gal bucket with side cut out, holes drilled in back and sides to get the smell out, bait (muskrat wired to back), and #220 conibear stabilized by 1/4" slots on sides. Make sure trap is tied off.
2nd pic shows the attractor (turkey wing feather just above set.
3rd pic shows the area a bit. Creek in back about 40 yds, corn field to left, pasture in front, 3 field roads come together at this point.

Here is another set, also caught cat last week.
Same bucket trap set baited with duck. Notice sight attractor. Also have duck feathers spread around front of bucket.
Location on this one has gas pipe line to the left and field road on the right that crosses a creek about 60 yds away.

Another set for cats and coyotes.
This set has taken a cat and 5 coyotes this year.
A fence crossing where it looked like every predator in the county was using. Trail leads through a hole under an old hog wire fence leading into a pasture. Couple of cow carcass were in the field couple hundred yards off.
I don't have it set in the pic, but this is a perfect place for a snare. Hunter777 actually helped me with this one. He suggested running a slide wire to keep the animal away from the fence. The wire leads back to some brush where they tangle up and expire. Another trick is if you can't find a place where critters are going through this type of fence make your own hole. The predator will find it and it will become a highway.

One more.
This set is just a beaver carcass wired to a cedar limb with 2 #2 coil springs set under the beaver. Location is on a small field road that connects corn field and pasture. Several hedgerows and a creek right behind set.

Oh, just wonderful, reading your thread is now getting me interested in buying some traps. Another reason for the wife to be complaining about money 'wasted' and me being gone all the time! sad Brick Wall,)
