Albinos and pibalds???

A buddy of mine just shot a nice pibald deer in jersey this weekend and I have heard a lot of stories. Many people say its bad luck and people have died. They say the albino is biblical. Any one ever shot one or have any stories. thanks and good hunting to all

Albinos and pibalds???

Here in Washington it is illegal to shoot any Albino wildlife. I've never seen a Piebald deer or elk, but we shot a palomino deer a couple weeks ago. Looked like a ghost walking out of the forest line into the field.

Albinos and pibalds???

My friend killed a piebald in Jersey about 10 years ago. It had a deformed rack as most piebalds and albinos do. I think it was a fork horn that was crooked and irregularly shaped. The only "old wives tale" I've heard concerning piebalds and albinos was 7 years bad luck for shooting one. If you believe that you probably believe in the Jersey Devil as well Evil! What part of New Jersey do you live?

No sense in hunting the devil, its already mounted on my wall lol I grew up in south jersey in Gloucester County. I hunted the farmland around Swedesboro and Mullica Hill until 2000, then I moved to Bucks county PA.
