Albino/Calico Whitetail

I'm from SC and I was wondering if any of you guys have been seeing any albino/calico deer. I've been hunting all my life and I have never seen nor got on trail camera either of these deer. I've always wanted to see one, but I didn't think they existed in SC. However, I was checking out this forum for SC hunters wehuntsc.com and some guy posted a nice 9 pt. calico in chesterfield county sc. So I guess they do exist and I was wondering if any you guys had some pics. I would like to see them. Thanks

I think you mean piebald

I think what you are talking about is a piebald deer. Brown with white patches. Albino deer are all white.
Piebald deer are one in 10000 albino deer are one in 700,000. (UGA study).
This deer is piebald.
There are deer that are white in some areas that are protected. They are white due to a genetic defect(kind of like manix cats from the isle of man ,having just a nub instead of a tail ) and not concitered piebald or albino. Very cool looking.

Albino/Calico Whitetail

Here's one from this farm. Still living, I hope. Got it on a trail camera in Southern Va.
