Heart shot

Well, I've beening trying the "aim for the heart" technique. And I guess sometimes they don't jump the string after all!

How far did it go after being shot?  I think that is the idea behind aiming for the heart.  If they duck the string you make a good shot and if they don't then you make a great shot like you did.

Congrats.

Even with a 2" slit through

Even with a 2" slit through her heart from a Rage 2 broadhead she still ran a good 75 yds!

75 yards sounds like a far

75 yards sounds like a far distance, but when you put it into perspective it really isn't.  Consider many non-athletic men can run a hundred yards in say 12 seconds so they can do 75 in nine seconds.  A deer is much faster so it probably only took her 6 seconds or less to cover that distance.

When the adrenaline kicks in they are super boosted and don't really know they are dead.  Good job.
