I agree with Alamosa. Check with the outfitter to see how quickly he could get the elk out. It sounds like a good price if he is prompt in retrievel compared to renting horses yourself. Good luck! Thumbs up

Hey I drew that hunt, my 3rd choice, but not 100% sure if I can make it this year.  Damn business going to hell!!  Where are you planning to camp/hunt?  If I can make it I can perhaps meet up with you so we can help each other out.

Also, one thing to remember

Also, one thing to remember about $$$$ is to figure in the tip.  I don't know if you want to hire someone just for the packing, or for guiding and packing, but usually a tip is made above and beyond the charged rate.
