Abnormal deer

Here is a picture I got from a friend today, this deer was hit by a truck about 10 miles from my house. Has anyone seen anything like this before? http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q304/srogers13098/longtoes.jpg

I saw hooves like that once at a guy's farm. Only thing was, they were on a donkey. I know horse hooves can get like that, too if they aren't trimmed.

Normally, a deer's hooves stay worn down from daily use. Only thing I can think of is this deer was in a pen somewhere. Think

I agree with Illinois Dave. I've seen that on horses before when they were neglected and kept penned up in an area soft with mud or manure. I don't think that deer would be that old or that fat if it was hobbled like that in the wild.
