80 Year Old Rangel Convicted of Ethics Charges

Rangel was found guilty by a House committee of ethics violations.  Now we have to wait and see what the penalty is.

Unfortunately, he's probably going to just get a slap on the wrist.  He is very popular in his district, so you can be sure he won't resign also.  It's going to depend on whether or not his case is pushed through Congress now, or after the Rep's take control of the house.

Unfortunately, I think you are right.  I don't care if he is a D or an R, any politician that violates ethics and tax laws should be kicked out of Congress.
