7mm-08 Styer

Just looking for opinions on the Styer Mountain Rifle chambered in 7mm-08. Just thinking about buying a used one, looks in great condition almost bran new. Don't have much expierence with the caliber or the rifle but it feels really good and well balanced. I mostly do whitetail but also am looking at a elk hunt next year.

7mm-08 Styer

The 7-08 with a 150gr or 160gr hunting bullet is a lethal round.
That would be Steyr for the rifle brand. Very nice.

Hunting Tip: Watch Your Downwind With Coyotes

When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing. This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
