scopes

I just put a 4-12x40 Leupold on it the other day and will start working up a good load for it.

Leupold are great scopes.  I've use a 2-7X33mm Leupold Rifleman on my rifle since about 2005 and keep it set at 5X, never moved it from that setting.  I have 4X fixed and 6X fixed magnification Leupold scopes on my other centerfire rifles.  I've used them very accurately on paper tagets out to 600 yrds and on biggame out to just under 400 yrds, and never needed more magnification than those scopes offer.  I like my Rifleman scope, but I love the simplicity and brightness of my other fixed power scopes.

Antelope loads

Hey there, I usually use my .270 with 130 gr. Federals and have never had a lope run or not go down in a hurry. Any of the 7mm cartridges are gonna be great flat shooting antelope calibers. Good luck! This is a pic of my goat this year. Dropped in his tracks from 167 yards.
