I HAVE A 5A BULL TAG AND IT HAS BEEN YEARS THAT I HAVE HUNTED THAT AREA. NEED SOME TIPS REAL BAD . I WENT SCOUTING THIS LAST WEEKEND AND SAW NOTHING. MY HUNT STARTS NOV 27. SOME HELP TO KEY SPOTS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS DONNY
Donny I've hunted all along the rim for many years but I've never hunted that unit.
Call the AZ G&F and ask them for the Game Warden's name & phone number for that unit. Call him or her up and ask them good questions. Don't just ask things like "where are all the elk at?" If you ask educated questions you will get educated answers. I do that for every hunt I get drawn for and sometimes I even go on ride alongs with them before the hunt starts.
