53 grain vmax for coyotes

I have been using my 223 on coyotes this winter and have shot a couple at 300+ yards.

Has anyone had much success with hornady's superperformance 53 grain VMax bullets at extended ranges?  They work great at 200 yds and under.

When I used to hunt coyotes

When I used to hunt coyotes with my .223 I would use a Speer 52 grain HP at around 3200 fps and had no problems dropping them out to 400 yards with minimal pelt damage.

I know that isn't a Hornady VMax but it may be close.

Good to know. The two I hit

Good to know. The two I hit were running and were not hit well. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's the bullet or the placement.
