Would you take this buck with a bow or give him another year?
I'ld say that it depends on the area and if you are seeing larger bucks. Now for a first time hunter that would be a nice buck to take with an arrow, but for me I would wait.
I'd take 'em... works for me.
Like above though, I suppose it would depend what else you have seen, time left, etc.
If I'm bow hunting I'd take him, if rifle I'd wait.
Knowing the bucks I have in my area I would have to pass on him. But, that is a very nice deer and you are the one that needs to decide that.
Dpend's...R U wall hunt'n R meat hunt'n?....Me,i'm a wall hunter,i'd pass an give him another year...gun r bow.... ...... wait a minute,i have'nt took 1 with a bow yet...sew yes 4 me with bow...![]()
Bow yes, gun if I have exclisive right to the property let him walk....next year see what he brings!
That's a great buck, but give him another year.
My intentions are to leave him for another year maybe 2 I know the area I hunt is full of deer and ones much bigger, I hope he stay’s nice and even like he is right now!
Good decision groundhog. Gotta let the smaller ones go to see the big bucks. I can't tell you how many nice bucks I've passed, and now we see alot more bigger bucks because of it.
With a bow... take him down.
