43 early rifle snowmass/maroon bells wilderness buck hunt

I applied for a early season buck tag for rifle in gmu 43 in the wilderness part only.Has anyone hunted this area before or know anything about it and the quality of the deer and elk there? I have been eyeing one of these tags up for a while now and have enough points so i am excited for the draw results. This unit took 5 res points while the neighbooring unit 47 in the hunter/fryingpan wilderness didnt require any points.I was under the assumption that all of the early rifle tags required points but not the case.I have seen some pics of some monster muleys harvested out of 47 in muzzy/bow season and looks like some great country.I love the high altitude spot and stalk hunting and that time of year in the high country calls for me.My mind and body demand it.I blew it on a possible 200" inch granddaddy muzzy hunting two years ago and need to cancel that image out of my mind with a similar caliber monster dead on the ground.

I don't know anything about

I don't know anything about that area, so I can't be any help.  Sounds like a great hunt though.  Now that draw results are in, did you draw this tag?
