Are you sure that's 400lbs? I'd say probably closer to 300 lbs...still a huge, huge buck. Yes

here is the full article on it, it weighed 412 lbs. alittle more than three hundred. look at the hind end of it ive shot some deer weighing in the low 200's and that is way way bigger. who knows its a monster though!! http://mikehanback.blogs.com/bigbuckzone/2006/05/whale_of_a_tale.html

Nice buck...mondo body....but dont think I woulda shot him in the guts...and then wait till the next day....I also read the story...I dont know what it is about people that shoot one and wait till the next day....or half the day...I mean I know it's respectful to give the anaimal time to expire but common all day or night.....thats what makes meat so damn gamey.....I would know working in the butcher shop....I see my fair share of nasty big game carnage.....
