4 Weeks until my first ever pig hunt. Getting stoked. Sent in the $$$$ and application yesterday. It's an unguided hunt, basically you are just paying an access fee. One half of the ranch is open for this hunt, so it's ONLY about 130,000 acres (no fences). But, there are 30 people going, so that only leaves about 4,500 acres per person. Might be a tight fit..... 
I get from noon on Friday to the end of the day Sunday. Hopefully I will get into them. No trophy fees, the only thing they ask you not to shoot is lactating sows. The December hunt was the full ranch (270,000 acres), had about 100 hunters, and they did right about 50% success rate. Pretty good for unguided hunts.
