3rd season buck...going on the wall

Great year, great hunt. Here is the buck I got this year. I passed on a couple of other nice deer and saw a few real nice ones. I was actually hunting one of them, which we estimated with about 27-28 outside spread and real high horns, when this one showed up instead. I couldn't hold back any longer and I'm very pleased to have him, he is going on the wall. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this hunt.

Alot of nice buck got hammered

Congrats on your buck. I tagged out on the 3rd morning (the 9th) in unit 2B near carracus mesa opposite of gate 20. Mature 3X4 24inch spread, tall tines, big ol' body. Damn thats some beautiful country up there. The three of us that went have never been mule deer hunting nor outta state hunting so it truely was a time of our lives.. My cous shot a young 5x6 18inch spread. It's a shame how many little 2x2's were taken, nobody wants to go home empty handed. Too bad you don't have the option to harvest a doe instead of a buck in that situation, there's plenty of those to go around and give those immature bucks a chance to grow up... I tried to attach a pic but for some reason it wouldn't let me,will try again later.
