3D shoots

Just wondering how many archers out here shoot 3D's during the year.
The archery club that I belong to, runs about 5 3D's each year and it seems like the amount of archers get less and less every year. Tell me what you think is a fare price for a 30 target 3D shoot. This club needs all the input it can get. I have just taken over running all shoots and would like to bring people back to archery. Any ideas would be greatly accepted.

I'm out so much in hunting season that if I took up something else in the off season, then I think I'd really be OUT! Deer from Sept to Feb and turkey from mid-April to end of May. That leaves 4 /2 months for her.
I can't help ya there bud!

3D's are a great family activity teach them how to shoot and bring them along. My wife loves to shoot, but hunting just isn't for her.

I go to 3-D shoots here in Idaho about 7 of them. I bought my son a bow so he can go also. Is great fun. Now my daughter wants to go also. So is great if family goes.

We have an indoor league during the winter and an outdoor 3d shoot spring/summer. Both run 13-15 weeks. We pay our annual dues, then each league costs $20.00 per participant coupled with a $2 range fee each time you shoot. So, effectively, each league costs around $50ish to shoot.
There is a decent turn out at our club of archers. About 30 for the indoor league and it steps up to about 45ish for the outdoor 3d shoot.
I don't know if that helps or not.

In my area of New York it costs $10 to shoot in a 3D tourney. I too have heard there is a decline in the numbers, I only shoot a couple a year, for me it is a wife issue as well. My hunting season is long and then there is turkey season, she likes me around the rest of the year, and that is ok with me. When my son gets a little older it will be something we can do together so I will do more then.
