I had a Model 70 .300 Win. Mag and sold it a few years ago. However, it consistently shot sub MOA with Hornady 180 gr. BTSP and held about 2.5" at 300 yds. Loaded it with RE-22, sorry, can't remember the primer I used. However, I shot Mulies with it up in Wyoming, never had any performance issues. The bullet performed flawlessly, always had extreme trauma to the vitals without doing much damage to the meat, of course, on the exit, it did leave quite a hole. I've always had great performance from any Hornady bullet. Problem I have with Berger is $$$. Why spend so much money on a "name brand" bullet when Hornady costs significantly less money and you get the same results? I hope this helps.
