The commercials are the best part of the super bowl, but $3 million for 30 sec, if i owned a company there would be no way in heck i would spend that kinda money on a ad. I could find a better way to spend the money. like maybe spend a 1/4 of it on ads on another day and maybe give my employee's a bonus or something. I agree CA_ I hope there are some good ones, if i remember right last year there wasn't too many good ones.
The commercials do seem to have gone down the last couple of years but there were some great ones inthe past.
And as far as employee bonuses go it seems like most companies including the one I work for would rather throw the money away than try to reward it's employees. My compay does not advertise on television but it does throw away millions anually on programs that they change every year.

While there was a few good ones..for the most part they were pretty lame...I think the best ones were in the first half. makes you wonder if the 1st half costs more than the second half....just in case it s ablow out and people turn it off.
