Considering the fact that I

Considering the fact that I have yet to shoot a deer with a bow, a doe will be just fine.... But, i won't shy away from a wall hanger if he comes my way..... Big smile

Well, as I said in my above post, I have never shot a deer with a bow. So, the buck of my dreams could very well be a doe..... lol

I've yet to take an animal

I've yet to take an animal with a bow either. My first bow hunt I tried holding out for a buck and past on atleast 10 good opportunites on does. The next time I take a bow out to hunt with will be a different story.

My first trip out i had 25 chances at does but i cant shoot them till nov. I had 3 bucks i stalked. My next trip will be just elk. I wont focus on deer till Nov late season archery.

Depends on the area, eastern

Depends on the area, eastern oregon is a big no no, bucks only, there are a few units in western oregon that the bag limit is one deer.  but I'm not hunting there till mid November.
