the second segment of tn bear season opens thursday looks like the weather is going to cooperate so it shold be a good one. we've gotten some moisture in the ground sense the last hunt so we'll have better scent conditons. look for some good bruins to hit the ground

Good luck. Is it still really warm in Tn? It is unusually warm here and most bears are still out, we also have had a banner year for mast.

i'll be out hunting starting sat until it closes, i'm going to be wore out and the dogs will be in the same condition by the end of season but we'll have fun and put some bear down.

thanks, larry took my hounds thrusday and had them on one kill a boar around 250 and had a big one get across to north carolina on them he was big enough he just walked pretty much where ever he wanted.

we've killed 2 so far one weighed in at 130 and the other just under 200lbs went out today and turned loose and ended up with a little guy up a tree was only around 100lbs so i left him to run another day and grow up. only had 6 dogs on him my 4 and 2 of a buddies.
