280 Remington

Looking to reload a little for my 280. I am looking for a good combo for deer and elk. I'm thinking of going with interbonds 139 grain, 140 grain accubond and partitions. If you have any others that have worked well please share.

thanks,

bruse

Might try the 160gr Accubond

Might try the 160gr Accubond to give a little more mass on elk.

that's a good un

I killed a bull in Montana back in 2000 with a 280 and 150 Partitions.  It's a good compromise bullet.

If I knew I was never going

If I knew I was never going to hunt anything other than deer, I'd do the 139/140 and 145gr bullets. If I was going to throw in elk, it'd do either 150 or 160gr bullets, whichever shot better.

bullets

I was looking at the noslers today and noticed 140 and 160's and no 150's. I'm sure they were jsut out but WOW. I think I will work on a 140 grain load just so many bullets to chose from.

It's still cataloged

Probably not as popular as the 140 and 160, but it's still there:
